Bucentaure, 80 gun, 3rd rate French flagship at Trafalgar. A very large formidable opponent. Hull is cast in resin and has etched brass ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Brass etched sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC05.
Bucentaure was launched in 1803 having been built in Toulon to the standard 1787 80 gun ship plan designed by Jacques Noel Sane. This French 80 gun two-decked ship was an extremely powerfully armed warship with a weight of broad side greater than a 98 gun three-decked ship and sailing qualities as good as a 74.

Santisima Trinidad, described as the biggest ship in the world, she was actually smaller than the French 118 gun ships though bigger than the other Spanish first rates and definitely bigger than any British ship until the Hibernia of 1801. Hull is cast in resin and has etched brass ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Etched brass sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC05.

Essex 32 gun frigate. Like most American frigates was quite large for her rate. Surrendered in 1814 after conflict with Phoebe 36 and Cherub an 18 gun sloop in Valparaiso. Kit is cast in white metal and comes with etched brass ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Etched brass sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC06.
