MT42 San Lorenzo
Meridian 1/700 scale Trafalgar ships, Spanish
The San Lorenzo built in the 1760s to 70s by a French naval architect working in Spain. Although lightly armed, she was a strongly built ship able to withstand a good deal of punishment. Hull is cast in resin and has etched brass ratlines, assembly sheets and sail template. Etched brass sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC11.

MT63 Chesapeake
Meridian 1/700 scale Trafalgar ships, USA
One of the smaller frigates of the American navy, Chesapeake saw action in 1813 with the Shannon 38. This was a short, hard fought fight with the Chesapeake hitting the Shannon over 300 times and receiving 500 hits herself before surrendering. Hull is cast in resin, has etched brass ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Etched brass sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC06.

Santisima Trinidad, described as the biggest ship in the world, she was actually smaller than the French 118 gun ships though bigger than the other Spanish first rates and definitely bigger than any British ship until the Hibernia of 1801. Hull is cast in resin and has etched brass ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Etched brass sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC05.
