Happy New Year to one and all!
In recent months, some of our EU customers have experienced long delays from us despatching orders to receipt. This is in part due to the current border problems. Despite this we are still processing orders but ask that customers are prepared for delays of up to a month before receiving their orders after despatch. We also request that you opt for Tracked shipping so that we can all see where the hold up is happening.
We thank all our customers for their orders throughout the past year and their patience when lead times have been extended. Together we have survived pandemic lockdowns and it is our hope we can build on this survival success.
Wishing you the best for 2022
Dear Customer, after 7 years of keeping our flat-rate p & p rates the same, we have reluctantly had to increase our standard rates. Royal Mail increase their tariffs year on year and for Europe and Canada/USA, these rates have been climbing steadily but to a lesser extent, the Rest of the World. We have been absorbing the extra costs but feel we now have to make some increase to these rates. We have also added a second layer of p & p so that customers who prefer their packages to be tracked now have that option.
Dear Customers, due to the Covid-19 situation, the UK has now gone into lockdown. NM&B is still alive and is endeavouring to complete and despatch all orders on hand at this moment. At present postal services are still live and we hope that your packages will reach you. Our site will remain open but as our manufacturer has gone into hibernation, we will only be able to fill orders for which we have stock. We do not mind if you wish to continue to place orders but we will not be able to process them until the lockdown situation has been lifted.
We wish you well and keep safe in these unprecedented times. We look forward to doing business with you as soon as we are able.
Best wishes to all
We have re-introduced some of the Triton metal cast quays; why not take a look at TB53, TB54, TB55 and TB56. All are classed as high tide being approx 4mm deep. We have also added TB1A to accompany TB1. This pack contains 2 quay pieces cast in resin 100mm x 20mm x 7mm and are classed as low tide. Illustration shows TB56, selection of quay corners and end quays.
We have just added three new models in this range: NY7, NY8 and NY9. The most famous New York piers -see our NY1-6 were the huge piers used by the iconic superliners. However, most of the many piers that served New York had more modest dimensions whilst still being quite impressive. These piers were used by merchant liners and cargo ships to discharge their loads. The three piers introduced are typical of these smaller piers and not only served New York but were built in all large seaports worldwide. Our models are cast in resin, measure 139mm x 39mm and are available painted and unpainted (£25.00 and £15.00 respectively).
We posted the news a little while ago about three of our ships being available in resin cast hulls: HMS Victory, HMS Royal Soveriegn, HMS Agamemnon. We now have Redoutable available with plans to introduce more as soon as possible.
