HMS Euryalus 36 gun frigate “Eyes of the Fleet” this standard frigate was Blackwood’s command. Kit is cast in white metal with brass-etched ratlines. Brass etched sails are an optional extra, see MTC06.
HMS Euryalus was designed by Sir William Rule in 1798 and launched in 1803. One of the Apollo class, the largest class of 36 gun frigates built in the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. She gained fame as Blackwood’s frigate at Trafalgar.
HMS Temeraire, 98 gun, 2nd rate ship of the Neptune class. Kit now has a resin cast hull, brass-etched ratlines, white metal cast masts, spars etc and comes with assembly instructions and sail template. Brass etched sails are an optional extra, see MTC05.
A 38 gun frigate, one of a large class of frigates which when well commanded were very successful vessels. Kit has cast white metal components, brass etched ratlines, assembly instructions and sail template. Brass etched sails are available as an optional extra, see MTC06.
